The Legend of Zelda: Oracles of Ages was a long awaited game. It was one of the first "multi-pak" games where you start in one game and finish in another.
The game plays much like the Links Awakening. You go around killing monsters and solving puzzles to get to a final boss. Capcom/Nintendo also included more weapons such as the pea shooter and hook swap.
Ages also features new and stunning color, much more so than the DX version of Link's awakening. It even takes advantage of Gameboy Advance's abilities to allow you into a special hut. The graphics were otherwise very Zelda standard.
Music in the game stayed for the most part the same as DX with a few more new songs added in. Sound also stayed the same for the most part with the pings of weapons and the finding of new items.
The reason Oracle of Ages got a higher ranking than Oracle of Seasons is because I found Oracle of Age to be the harder and longer of the two. It had more puzzles than the seasons and also seemed just more fun to play.
If you enjoy RPG style games, enjoyed Links Awakening, or are looking for a good RPG series to get started with, then I would recommend this series over every other.
